I love to collect vintage pitchers and tablecloths. They make me happy.
This little jug is one of my favourites.
My aunt did the embroidery on this cloth a long time ago. She gave it to me because I love pansies. She just passed away a short time ago so it is extra special to me.
The rest of the cloths either came from my Mum or at yard sales. I never paid more than $2.00 for any of them.
I have lots more little pitchers I will show another time. Does anyone else like to collect these things?

Good afternoon! :) I do love to collect old linens. Especially table cloths. I have one on my table almost all the time. I think your little jug is very cute. I would put flowers in it when and if Spring ever gets here. :)
I love your collections. I love little pitchers too and I always have to look at the old linens...just gorgeous details.
Hi Debbie. thanks for stopping by. I just washed all my ironstone pitchers today..they were so dirty....yours are so colorful. I like your vintage dishclothes...I have only one handed down from my Mom....sorry to hear about your aunt..that makes that one special for sure.
Hi, Deb! Thank you so much for finding me again after I changed my blog name and I've added your blog to my list to follow! I love the collection of pitchers and even though my focus is mini's I get so much inspiration from my various decorating magazines and books and 'real life' cottages and homes. After all, in miniature's we are trying to create the illusion of full-size. You were so kind to find me again. As I tend to be a sporadic blogger as life intervenes, I was truly afraid I would permanently drop off the radar! Hope you are well and I will enjoy following your blog now that I have also found you!

Thanks everyone for the comments. Hi Jody!
I collect both of those. Only my creamers/pitchers are all blue and white. Such lovely things!
Deb,are we related by blood and not just by marriage?? Little milk pitchers and old linens are my all-time favorites things..First thing I do at a garage sale or flea market is go through the linens!
