Do you know that because I live in such a backwoods area as far as good taste and refinement are concerned I have to source fabrics online? I got these snazzy fabrics last week. They are all heavy weight decorators cotton with the look of linen. Okay, I did find the floral at the only fabric store in the whole city. (And they wonder why people shop online.)
I don't know why the gray fabric looks so light. It's actually quite dark. I'm going to put zippers in the covers and make them 18" square. I do have a couple of 16" envelope back covers made because my minion forgot to cut them the right size. Should I fire him? Should I make the pillows larger than 18"? Will these pillows solve world peace? I'm in need of your opinions people.

And to think everyone has been looking for the solution to world peace and here you had it all the time.. grin..
Lovely fabrics...
I definitely think those gorgeous fabrics have a lot to contribute to the Palestinian conflict, and the odd-floral cushion should do some positive work in North Korea
I'd like to see how you put zippers in the covers. I'd like to make some zippered cushion covers, but am not really sure how - there's often some instability in the Pacific region - (Papua New Guinea and Samoa)thinking cushions could be part of the healing process there. Good work.
MMMC: Imagine my humble pillow doing all that good!
Deb, we have the same problem here in Québec city. We are down to one Fabricville and the selection is just okay. I too have to shop online.
Lovely fabrics though.
oh, and world peace can use all the help it can get....
Lovely fabrics...I look forward to see what you do with them. You should look at Tonic Living in Toronto....they ship and have a good website.
I LOVE those fabrics. That gold is wonderful. Great choices. You're really creating a beautiful line of pillows.
I have no idea if they could be of help for world peace, but they can surely help some styleless house . And make them larger than 18'' so they can be used as floor pillows too!
I love your fabrics, too, Deb! LOVE the gray, especially! And world peace, too? Even better...
I'm in LOVE with that gray fabric. Great pattern!
