I've noticed lately that some of my bloggy friends are getting into couponing in a big way. You know, clipping coupons, watching the store flyers for sales and cashing in on some great deals. As I've told you before, I'm a follower so I decided to check this out. It turns out that couponing could be a full time job. I poured over web sites and downloaded coupons for what seemed like hours.
Coupons in hand I
dragged invited Mr LC along for the expedition. I was so excited as I trolled through the store looking for my bargains. I told Mr LC he was going to have to build some shelves to hold all of the stash we were going to collect. This would be great now that we are
destitute pensioners.
I can't wait to show you my stash. Wait for it.......
What, do I hear laughter at my one and only stash item!? People, behave.

lol, last time I was at your house I noticed this in the bathroom and figured it must be your stash because you still had lots of rolls left. Soon you'll be able to add laundry detergent!
Oh Deb! You're rolling in it!!
MMMC-I may need your tp Homeboy.
Laura- I'm wild with anticipation.
There's nothing wrong with a bit of extra care aloe vera style. You can start a Great Wall of Toilet Paper like MMMC!
I've often wondered about the coupon caper, at least you got some rolls of paper...xx Katherine PS you will need them for your long journey in your kayak to down under.
How much did you save?
hahaha! That is great!
Too funny! I cut coupons but forget to bring them.
Slow and steady. That's how you win the race. Tell Mr. LC not to rush with the new storage shelves. ;-)

Dear Debs, I had NO IDEA you had a blog! How silly of me! I was sure I had checked before too....so please forgive me for being so slow! You have been such a funny and faithful commenter to me, now I can return the compliment. I am also super excited to see couponing as your topic: i got big into couponing a couple of years ago - it's a way of life!! I picked it up from the UK MoneySavingExpert website; at that time supermarkets like Tescos would give you money off against a coupon even if you didn't buy that product, as long as it was a product they stocked; so there were lots of stories about the guy that bought a T using 500 different coupons... then Tesco changed its policy and now accepts coupons only if you buy the product - after complaints from the manufacturers who were making promo payts without seeing any increase in sales; anyway all the fun went out of it then and I gave up!! There you are, the Life and Times of Blighty via Couponing. xxx
I meant to type the guy who bought a TV!!! durrrr!
Hi Blighty, Welcome aboard!
I'm laughing. I hope you haven't been completely defeated in your coupon quest. Stay strong.
LOL! I loved this!
