Somebody Reads My Blog.

Last night I got a phone call from this creature:

Playing the pregnant card she convinced her hubby to go and get her some of these:

She had to call and tell me they were on sale and had moved to the cookie aisle.  She's helpful that way.

Well, I guess she should use those coupons on something (or she's getting desperate).
I do feel for her, and in the same time, she's so, so lucky!

Good for her! ( And you.) My Australian daughter succumbed to the allure of Tim Tams very soon after she arrived Down Under several years ago. They do slightly resemble the popular UK Penguin biscuit. Slightly ersatz 'chocolate' but very more-ish. Absolutely perfect for expectant mum's midnight cravings. My daughter has produced two adorable babes on the Tim Tam diet so I'm sure your daughter will do the same!

LOL! I hope she bought more than one package. They were on sale after all. ;-)

When I was pregnant with all mine, I used to live on Tim Tams. I'd eat a pack a day. Better than smoking a pack a day.

What a thoughtful daughter keeping you updated on the stock movements of the supermarket.

I'll have to send you some Tim Tams for out-of-retail-hours emergencies.

Hello helpful pregnant daughter. You know your baby is going to be part Aussie eating those Tim Tams. What is your favourite Canadian biscuit; nay cookie?!

If it's a boy - Tim. And if it's a girl - Tam. What do you think of the baby names? It's only fitting. xx

It is essential to know where the Tim Tams are at all times. Similar to MMMC, I enjoyed many a pregnancy fuelled by packets of Mint Slice - do you have them over there? Dis-similarly to MMMC, I am still carrying the weight from that first pregnancy, 13 years ago. But let me tell you, it was worth it!

I have no idea of what those are, but they look delicious. If pregnant women can eat that with no guilt at all, please help me find a husband.

Ooh, I have seen TimTams in the specialist food section of Selfridges! How exotic! And how exciting about the imminent baby arrival! xx
