Am I Ready For This?

If you have followed my blog from the beginning, you may remember my post about my fifteen minutes of fame by being featured in a magazine.  You can read it here

A few weeks ago I was contacted by HGTV magazine.  I didn't know they had a magazine, did you?  Well they do and this is the first issue:

I was contacted because they want to feature my red alphabet pillow from my Etsy shop!  WOW!

I am thrilled and amazed.  The pillow will be featured in an article about great pillows under $30.00.  They will be sending me a copy of the issue when it is ready so I'll be sure and let you know.

Will I have to increase my staff?  Will I have to get a new sewing machine?  Will I be able to source enough ink for my silkscreen?   Oh, the problems I will have to deal with!  Riiiiight.

Oh my. How long have I been communing with you and I had no idea you were such a savvy business woman! Well done to you! I think there should be an intercontinental story on you and Anna. It could be called "Pillow sisters across the world"! Have you two done a pillow swap???

Congratulations! I guess I should get mine now before supplies run short. They'll be backordered in no time I imagine.

Imagine what will happen when the "Broken Item of the Week" is discovered! A television show? Action adventure movie?

Oh, my goodness!!! That's SO fabulous. You're famous. You'll have to buy an extra sewing machine and employ Mr. LC to make pillows. I'm so excited for you. Congrats. Please remember us little people when you're on TV fluffing pillows for the rich and famous. :-)

I'm up for that swap by the way. And do we get to say we knew you before you were famous? (Stay tuned for my article in Tuesday's local paper - and this time it's not even the free one! (this one costs $1.05 so all the best people buy it)). I want to grow up and get my cushions in a magazine one day. Well done.
