Believe It or Not.

As many of you may recall, last winter I moaned about the weather incessantly.  That's just what Maritimers do.  I'm going to try my best not to whine about it this year except for what happened this past Sunday.

Let's just say I was rendered speechless when I woke up to this Sunday morning. Believe it or not.

Below is another believe it or not moment:

This has never happened before.  Sophie and Emma actually jumped up on the couch even though Millie was there first.  Those two dogs are in fear and trembling when Millie's in the house.  I guess when the wood fire is going all bets are off.  Of course they always take the best seat in the house.  Do I make them move? Of course not.

I decided I wasn't going to talk much about the weather either but I might not have any other material.

Funny what new friendships develop when there's heat involved.

Could it be another year that you get too much snow and I whine that I don't get enough. Let's hope not!

If I can whine about the sweltering heat, then you can whine about the snow.

I can't believe it's snowing again. So soon!

I wonder if the puppies and Millie are missing Mr LC?

I wouldn't move the dogs or cat either! They are your babies- and you don't wake a sleeping baby!

Snow seems a lovely alternative to a sweaty, humid summer here. Perhaps the dogs have decided the hierarchy has changed with the new baby in the mix. He is the new alpha.

This is a joke,no? Snow already? Actually we're basking in 14/16 degrees celsius (57/60F) which is unusually high round here. Can still go out without a coat. Weird. But saving on fuel bills!

Sorry you got so much snow! Stay warm and try and squish in between your animals.

I'm catching up with your last posts here...I love that your husband is going on a humanitarian mission. That's a good way to spend retirement!!
I love the baby's costume!

I am still going around with just a couple of light sweaters and you have snow...oh my. Good for your furry kids all to ether on the sofa...cold weather brings peace.

I'm jealous of the snow! I've been hoping to have an early snowfall here in Ontario, so I have an excuse for not raking the leaves.

Hum. And here I am whining about how cold it is in NL - you win. Easily.

Is it me or does Millie look 'not amused' to have been cought on the sofa with - gasp - dogs? ;-D
They look so adorable together though!
