Who Knew?

I'm just going to post some random DR photos to sweeten the pot.  Everyone likes to look at pictures on a blog, right?
They love to have their picture taken.

Mr LC got back from the Dominican on a Monday and by Tuesday he was teaching again.  I know.  His former boss called him and asked if he would fill in for about twelve weeks while one of the staff did a practicum to complete her masters degree.
Look at those eyelashes!

Mr LC reasoned that it would be great to get the extra income and have little responsibility. As in he doesn't have to write any reports.  That's a big win for him.
Sweet!

You won't believe this but now I don't like it when he works.  How weird is that?  I can't believe myself sometimes.  It's only three days a week but I can feel the stress already.  Getting him out the door in the morning is a job in itself. Besides that, I no longer have the car whenever I want it. Major bummer.

Happy days, Mr LC!

The best part is he's been on the job for a week and he has a storm day already!

Seeing people who have so little and still have the ability to be happy is a great reminder to be thankful.

sounds like the retirement so far is a win-win. I was worried for you for a little while. :)

Seems everyone's happy ... I do love the pictures!

On Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for your friendship. :)

Three days a week sounds perfect to me but what's a storm day, Deb? Here, at this time of year, it means the roof gets blown off your house. That teeny baby looks quite besotted with Mr LC.

Annie: A storm day is when your roof is covered with a lot of snow along with everything else.

Fun post! Fun pictures! I love that photo with Mr LC holding that sweet baby. I bet it made him miss his new grandboy.

Mr Urban Cottage is always on point, isn't he? So true, so true. Look at their smiles.

Mr LC has taken to babies like a duck to water! I bet he missed his grandson ... and you too, of course, Debbish.

Its funny how you can get used to a change like that, and then it changes again...

You're like a kid who wants to play hooky - with your boyfriend! Now, that's reading between the lines a little... is it really all about the car???
