When All is Said and Done. Extra- Broken Item of the Week!

I'm so finished with this.  There's nothing I can say.  There's nothing I can do.  I'm so tired of it.  I've all but tuned out.

I'm so over this living room.  Why, what did you think I meant?

The living room has now been cleared out by me and the carpet rolled up.  Mr LC started repairing the walls himself but now he's outside finishing up a shingling job from three years ago on the back of the house.  I may never see my living room finished.

The shingling job ended up in a Broken Item of the Week.

Shaken off the window sill by incessant hammering outside.

My dining room still looks like an episode of Hoarders even though I donated two carloads of stuff.

You should see the floors!  No, maybe not, you may never talk to me again.

Tomorrow we are having our bathroom redone.  Don't worry, Mr LC's not doing it this time.  I want it finished so we hired the job out.  He offered to do it but I kindly told him I really wanted it to be finished in a timely manner.  He just smiled.  He knows.

Then he offered me a trip to Cuba!

Dearest Deb,
I can relate so I am sorry for you!

Do timelines work? It makes Chad mad when I give him one but the job's usually done by then.

Cuba?! Really? Wowsers.

The house will come together, don't worry.

I think it's looking good. Even your hoarding looks neat.

I always love watching Hoarders and thinking to myself: See - I'm not that bad!! ;-) This still looks like a very organised state of (temporary) disarray though....

i love the way you started with the living room, then showed the outside and calmly said the bathroom is getting redone tomorrow. you crack me up.

Hi Deb, I keep seeing you on my Aussie bloogy friends' blogs so now I'm here! I think I have your husband's disease. I start things and get easily sidetracked. Lucky you getting your bathroomfixed up though, that's something you don't want to drag out!
Cheerio, Sarah :)

You make me laugh. Your husband and my husband must have gone to the same school to learn how to get things done in a jiffy. At least the siding is getting finished. ;-)

I'd just take the trip to Cuba. Or better yet, the Bahamas.

P.S. Some might call the last photo 'eclectic'. You should feature in one of those Selby posts.

You must be so happy to be handing the job over to someone else for your bathroom.. I would love to do that.. But my hubby refuses to pay anyone else and so I WAIT.. He is outside now too so my kitchen counter is still the same one that I had last Fall.. Or was it the Fall before..
oh, forget it.. grin..

Wow, you two are getting a lot done! And when I saw that painting I recognized that face...I've seen it in the mirror myself during a redecorating project or two...

You said yes to the trip to Cuba, right Deb?
I don't see what's strange in your living room. It looks like mine minus the cats. and I am not in the middle of a remodeling, that's just the way it is, always. I don't call it mess. I call it relaxed approached to decor.
