A Depends Moment.

Do you remember the post I wrote a while ago about meeting a bear while driving down the road near our house?  Well, it just gets better and better.

Last night as Mr LC and I were taking our daily constitutional we happened upon a bear about 50 up the road from us.

Definitely a reenactment.

I turned around and headed for home so fast it would make your head spin.  I did wait long enough to see the bear run off when he heard me screaming talking.  I turned around to see Mr LC head off toward the spot where we saw the bear.  What are you doing? I shrieked while running in place.  I just want to see where he went says Mr LC all calm and crazy like.

Finally (it seemed like an hour)  Mr LC heads toward home behind me.  I turn around again and wait for him to catch up.  Wow he marvels aloud. I didn't know you could run that fast.  Aggghhhh!

Sounds scary! Is that 50 Canadian or 50 American?

Just like a man! I would have been yelling at my husband through an upstairs window! :)

Oh, this sounds like man vs woman all right. My hubby would do exactly that!
We came along a bear...twice, in one evening, but we were driving our car, not out for a walk!
Been a little scared now when I go for my early morning hike...especially since we came across 3 or 4 piles of cherry pit poop along the trail!!!

Imagine how fit you would get if he is there every day!! Was Mr LC slipping him a twenty to keep turning up?

Holy crap, I'm seriously laughing so hard right now. "Definitely a reenactment."

Deb, you are a first class hoot!

Why the heck do we both live in the boon docks? Bears? Wild animals?

A beary close encounter. Loved Annie's comment. Bear boot camp will be the next exercise craze....release the bears and run for your lives! X

Funny but terrifying - where do you live, to have a bear appear on your walking path? And I thought I had problems with off-leash dogs when out walking! Glad you escaped, and yes, that is Just Like A Man!!!

You make me laugh so much! I can't imagine you running. I can imagine you screaming though! Did I say how much you make me laugh?

I don't exercise eg. walking because exercise is dangerous.

Last night, Our local news was talking about how the brown bear in Maryland has doubled in population. If I can handle Baltimore city.. I can take on a few extra bears. lol.
Kinda makes me not want to camp this fall.. scarrry!

Annie: Now you're making me suspicious.

Patricia: We live on a dirt road surrounded by woods. Dumb, right?

Marian: You are one brave gal. I haven't been out since.

We are having a lot of foxes around my home. What about an exchange? Three foxes for a bear? We people who live on dirty roads in the middle of nowhere are the best.

I would love to see a bear in person but would probably run right with you. :)

That's scary Deb! My hubby always jokes if we see a bear, he doesn't have to be faster than the bear, just faster than me. That's quite a man, huh?
