Breaking up is hard to do

Several ladies out here in blogland have recently given up sugar. This is a good idea for several reasons not the least being losing weight. I decided to join the crowd a couple of weeks ago and I am pleased to report that I have lost weight but more importantly, I found I just feel so much better generally.
So goodbye Pepsi, goodbye Tim's double chocolate donuts (sob), goodbye iced tea(sniff). I have loved you lots but it's time to move on. From now on its water, hummus, and carrot sticks. Yessiree I'm living large. (no pun intended)

Oh Deb, you will feel so much better without that toxin in your body wreaking havoc. It's so addicting too. I gave it up 16 months ago. I used to get chronic migraines -- they have decreased significantly.

Ugh! You would have to post this just after I made a batch of chocolate chip cookies. And I know you are so right. I hate it! But I know you are so right.

I try to live without it...every once in awhile (a ton around Christmas) I give in. I feel sooo much better without it. It can be hard the first few weeks so good for you!!!

This is a hard one for me. The cupcake I ate earlier with the chocolate frosting would not leave me alone. It was relentless. I HAD TO eat it....really.

Good for you though! I applaud your willpower. Send a little my way anytime. ;-)
