Coupon Update.

I just wanted to let you know (because I know you're super interested) how I did with my coupons last week.  I scored!  It took me a couple of hours to peruse all the flyers for the stores in our area but I did it.  I comparison shopped and checked for good sales and made sure I had the coupons to match.
Here's my pile for this week:
I'm not going to clear the shelves or hoard inordinate amounts of stuff.  I'll just buy things I need and use.  I never used to check the ads before shopping.  Once I started I couldn't get over how much money I was wasting by just throwing things in my shopping cart without looking at the prices. Shameful, really.

Imagine my excitement when perusing the foreign food aisle I came upon these:

Tim Tams!  And they were on sale!!!  A real Australian delicacy!  Yum!
Happy shopping, mates.

Tim Tams! I hear the au pairs in Brisbane are all raving about them. Seriously. Finnish K wolfs them down while no one's looking.

I wish we had coupons in Australia. I'd jump on the coupon bandwagon.

Happy shopping indeed, mate.

Carmel-The best way to eat them is when no one's looking isn't it??

I don't think we can get those but if we could, I wouldn't need a coupon to give those babies a try.

I also see Crisco. Is there a pie in my future?

Coupons! I have a love/hate thing going on with them. When I use them they make me so happy, but when I don't use them, oh the guilt. It almost makes grocery shopping too much of an emotional experience for me. :)

And I am thinking it is a good thing I can't get Tim Tams where I live.

I get a chocolate head ache just looking at those tim tams. You know your supposed to bite the ends off and suck your hot beverage through them? The two year old got hold of them at a morning tea last week and was spinning like a prima ballerina! Don't let the bear smell them!

Those things give me a chocolate head ache just to look at them. The toddler got hold of some at a morning tea last week and was spinning like a dervish! You know you are supposed to bite the ends off and suck your hot beverage through them? Nothing like blisters and a sugar rush!

Now all you need to do is acquire a taste for Vegemite and then it's official - an true blue Aussie you will be!

Something tells me that would have enjoyed coupons, and Tim Tam as well. I believe the last time we had coupons in Norway was during WW2. I wonder what's inside those 'Tide' bottles.

Those Tim-Tam's look good! My kids are so funny now...when they ask if we can buy something, they first check to see if I have a coupon for it. This afternoon I'm going to run out and get a free lipstick (I'll have to pay tax) and then get an additional $5 back for my next purchase. That's my kinda shopping! I may even use lipstick more often if it's free. ;-)

Good couponing job!

Excellent coupon work. I'd also be on the coupon band wagon if I could. Bargains please me no end!
It's funny to think of Tim Tams as being foreign. They are a delicacy!
