Adventures in Babysitting.

This past week I had to journey into the city everyday to look after a certain little grandson.  His mum decided to return to work early so she thought if I looked after him for the first week things might go a wee bit smoother.  Well, they did.  For him.  I'm exhausted.

Baby is the one in the plaid shirt.
Monday night I got stuck in town because of a freak snow/ice storm.  That was nice.  Tuesday was how many times can I poop day.  Wednesday was let's see how loudly I can squeal day.  Thursday was if I smile all the time do I have to have a nap day.  Friday was his dad's day on duty.

Every night I came home to a what is this nice meal prepared by Mr LC. He did laundry and cleaned the house for me too.  Maybe I should look for a job somewhere.

I'm only going to help out with the baby on Mondays regularly.  Thank heavens. I'm too old for this stuff.  Let's see, how many holidays take place on a Monday?  Score!

I wonder how I managed to read: Advertising babysitter. Wishful thinking I suppose. I wanted to write: send him over! :)
Adorable; the smile, the slippers, the hair. I bet he smells like heaven.

Oh my gosh Deb, he is SO CUTE!!! I'd help out if I lived closer!

I watch the little one next door sometimes and end up being the one who needs a nap!

Where can I get a pair of those plaid slippers in my size?! :)

That child is gorgeous, Deb- a tiny, grinning lumberjack! Thank goodness for the grandparents. They keep the world turning for working mums!

Annie: What would we do without them?

Hey, Mr. LC is a pretty guy. I might be tempted to babysit everyday if I had dinner ready when I came home. Baby is a doll.

Look at those eyes! How are you ever going to resist him when he begs Gamma for just one more cookie? Future lady killer there.

That initial going back to work is so difficult. Good thing they have you close to help out. He certainly is adorable.

Debs, loved this post, especially that today it's...day - excellent. also good that you pointed out which one is the baby in the pic, these things are confusing. He is super cute. Your daughter is so lucky that you can take over the childcare like that xx
