Spring Training.

'Tis the season for Spring Training.

Well, I don't know if it is for baseball but it is spring training for Sassy.

For being such a kind, gentle horse she has some naughty habits up her sleeve hooves when you put a saddle on her.

Her own personal limo horse trailer picked her up this morning complete with snacks and beverages.  Well, hay and water.  She told me she was very excited to have a trip planned especially for her.  Little does she know, it's going to be all work and no play for this gal.

Bye Sassy.  See you in a couple of weeks!

Somehow I sense she isn't so excited.

Where's she going? Have you sent her to boarding school? Has she gotten a job at McDonald's? Has she joined a baseball team? I'm not used to the mysterious ways of the Horse.

She is beautiful Deb. I love the idea of sending a horse off for training, her own tough love camp!
Your little Emma looks exactly how I expect Lily to look if a but more squashy cos of the pug in her.

Spring training is well over for the baseball players. We're in full swing of the new season. But Sassy .. now that's another story. She has no idea what she's in for. In fact, neither do we. We'll have to wait and see I guess :)

I'm afraid of horses but I think they are so beautiful and majestic - I'd love to have one just to watch run in my flower meadow (the one I'm going to have one day) :)

Poor Miss Sassy...hope she enjoys herself!

Is she going to horse camp or something? Hmmm...maybe they have one of those training camps for my kids. Just wondering... ;-)

Have you ever read Dear Mrs. LaRue? It's all about a dog show gets shipped off to the most luxurious dog obedience training school but keeps telling his owner that it's just pure torture. So why am I telling you about this? Well, don't believe any of the letters that Sassy is bound to write to you. I'm sure she'll be well-treated at "spring training".

Sassy is going to be mad at you when she comes back. Be ready with extra treats to buy her respect back!

Look at that lovely green grass...the snow certainly goes away fast it seems to me when it eventually goes. Good luck to Sassy.

hmmm...I'm intrigued. Clearly she's too refined for ploughing fields, and obviously that's a tractors job anyway.
