Like Sands Through the Hour Glass.

Googly Image

Tomorrow Mr LC and I celebrate(?) our 32nd wedding anniversary. In some ways it's hard to imagine we've been together for so long and in other ways it seems like yesterday.

Before we were married, one of his sisters told me to be careful because Mr LC was a real cheapskate. When I told him this he laughed and said that's because his sister was always asking him for money for cigarettes or gum and he wouldn't support her in those nasty habits.

Also, just before the wedding my mother in law took me aside and warned me about the first thing Mr LC would do in the hotel room on our wedding night. Being such a good girl and waiting for marriage to live together I was worried and slightly nervous to say the least.  She whispered in my ear that the first thing that would happen when we got to the hotel room was that Mr LC would immediately fix the curtains in the window of the room. He does have a fetish about drapes hanging properly.  I kept this little nugget of info to myself and sure enough, that's the first thing he did! I still have to laugh whenever I think about it.

He's a good old guy though and I wouldn't trade him for anything. I do tell him however, that if anything happened to him I would never get married again!

Love you Mr LC. You're a hoot and a holler!

I wonder if he'll take me out to celebrate? Maybe we'll go to a fancy restaurant like Dairy Queen or something.

Best date ever!

You know you're my favourite Canadians.

I love how Mr LC has a soft spot for soft furnishings. He's my kind of man! Here's to another 32 years!xoxox

Mr LC looks like a keeper to me as do you, you lucky girl!
Mine started to check out and ask my opinion on the plaster walls in the labour room where we were having the twins. Needless to say I was otherwise occupied.
