It's Burning!!!! Two Items of Business.

Gentle Readers,

Don't call the fire department, but my burning bush decided to burn this year!

Remember this sad looking specimen?

Look at her now!  I think she finally heard my threats.

I would also like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers during this sad time.  I am so grateful for my friends here in blog land.

It has come to my attention that I have lost a follower.  This distresses me greatly, because I have no self esteem. Sniff.

That was a nice little blessing after all the sadness. Hope all is well and everyone is finding some comfort now ~

You didn't lose me! :)

I'm so glad your bush burned! I'm sure it did that to give you a bit of cheer during this sad time. And it wasn't me! I'm a follower for life!

Deb,
"I'm Ok. You're Ok!" a wise woman said that to me recently, and despite not having read the book, the title is enough to inspire confidence. Say it a few times.

If that burning bush had a google account, I'm sure she'd be one of your followers.

Glad to see you're back. Love that burning bush.

Definitely a follower with no taste!

I don't "follow" anyone. I just put them on my google reader list. That way, I do not have the power to hurt anyone's feelings :) I couldn't stand to think I was making someone sad :)

I'm still reading you!

Hi Deb: So sorry for your family's loss. And to make up for the follower lost I just started following you. Since your post on your burning bush I've been watching local burning bushes and it seems they are slow this year, but coming along. I saw four in one yard on Saturday!
I know you love nice vintage things, so check out my giveaway over at http://www.funkybabymine.blogspot.com

Wow! Your burning bush is beautiful! I just love it. If you lost a follower, they must have dropped their internet or something, because I can't think of another reason you would lose someone. I'm glad I don't have followers...I would spent too much time crying! ;-)

What a beautiful burning bush!

I hear you on the follower anxiety thing. Don't even get me started on facebook and the trying to figure out which friend disappeared and why. The internet, new ways to connect and new ways to stress about connecting. ;0)
