Happy New Year!

Here we are with another year coming to a close.  Time flies when you're having fun!  Some of us didn't have such fun times all year.  One of you lost your house to fire just before Christmas.  One of you had your husband undergo an emergency appendectomy just before Christmas.  Some of us lost loved ones this year, some of us lost our jobs, and some of us saw our husbands lose their jobs.  But do you know what?  None of these dear souls are disheartened or discouraged because they have faith.  Faith that they can handle whatever life throws at them, good times and bad.

Gentle Readers, I wish that faith for each of you during this new year that is almost here.  I love you all.  I have made so many new friends since I started blogging this year and I am so grateful for that.  Your comments have led to meeting some great people all over the world and that is truly amazing and wonderful to me.

See you next year!

Happy New Year, Deb! Your blog is one of my favorites. You have a unique, positive and humorous way of looking at everyday life that's that's always a joy to read. I'm shocked that you don't have thousands of readers! I very much look forward to reading about your life and your broken items through 2011. Steve

Happy New Year to you, Deb! Happy Birthday, Sassy!

I also agree with everything Steve said. Your's is also one of my favourite blogs. I think the first post of yours I read was about your parent's wedding anniversary ... there isn't another blog which I remember the first post I read. And then I kept reading.

You deserve a million followers, but I think that'd spoil your blog, to be honest. Because what I love about it is its honesty, humility, humour and homeliness, and I'd hate to see that change!

Please keep doing what you do, breaking things and laughing at funny little things, and making me laugh.

Love you, Deb ... and then there's the rest of y'all! They're great as well!
