Snow!

Gentle Readers,

It has finally happened friends: Snow.  Here at the LC.  I am not happy.  I don't like snow.
It's like a winter wonderland!
I think we're in Narnia!
Here's our gigantic tree.  Can you see where the branch broke off?
You can see the size of the tree on the left.  Our potting shed is center.
Tiny paw prints in the snow.

Okay, I will admit snow is pretty.  Especially when I'm standing at my front door and don't have to venture out!

Here's where I'll be found:

Deb,
These are gorgeous pictures!!
The first snowfall always seems like such a refreshing blessing to me...although I like to admire it also in front of a fire with some hot apple cider.
Enjoy!

Sarah is right, there is something about the first snowfall, it's like God's way of cleaning the earth. I for one like snow and can't wait for our first snowfall, we've only had flurries.

Now if that happened on Christmas day, it wouldn;t be so bad!

It does look gorgeous though. Your shed through the trees makes a pretty picture.

I was thinking about you last night and thanking my lucky stars that it wasn't us. I do have to agree there's something wonderful about the first snow. Actually, I don't mind the snow; I just hate the cold. If it could snow and be warm, I think that would be okay every now and then. Wonderful photos!

Enjoy that new stove of yours :)

I have a total love/hate relationship with the white stuff! I love it as a holiday decoration but after the first of the new year, I am ready for it to go away. lol!

Blessings!

A beautiful view, like you I like to enjoy it from the inside of my cosy house!

Hi Deb! I was missing your posts!

Your yard (actually it's bigger than a yard) does look like Narnia, and Sophie(I can't see her face) looks like she's donned a fur coat from the wardrobe and is out to look for Tumnus.

Ted just saw your doll's house picture and said 'that's a beautiful building'!

And Matilda just saw the second photo and said it looked like The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

It does look so marvellous and magical! And freezing ... I hope the postman can get through!

I LOVE snow. I am sorry that you are not happy. I think the first snow is quite magical and so lovely. By March it will be very old hat and I'll be ready for spring though. I am sure of that. Maybe even by February.

That looks like the perfect place to be when it looks like Narnia outside, which it does. Please send some of Narnia westward. I'd be much obliged.

We have snow too! I prefer it to rain. At least in the winter. I'll change my mind by March. ;-)

Try not to over-bake by the stove.
