Lunch.

This is what I had for lunch today:

Don't laugh.  It was delicious.
Seriously.
A customer reader asked for the recipe so here it is:

I played with it a little bit.

Sweet Parsley Smoothie  2 quarts

2 cups fresh parsley
1 Fujii apple. (I used a Cripps apple) Hey there really are Cripps apples FYI.
1 Banana
2 Medjoool dates. (I don't know what kind mine were)  I would add a couple more next time maybe.
2oz fresh lemon juice. (I used bottled)

That's the recipe but I added maybe 1/2 cup water and four or five ice cubes because I like mine really cold.  This will keep covered in fridge for a day so you don't have to drink it all at once. Let me know whether you like it or not.

Ok what is it? I recognize only the banana!

The fact that it will keep for a day or so says to me that it's not something you would want to lick out of the bottom of the bowl.

I'm not making that shake.

What's this a new background? You are the personification of industry.

Cripps apples ... is there no end at the things you will amaze me with?

Do you realise you have found the 'key' to the great blog? I love reading your posts.

When I am very old and lose my teeth I will make this drink. It looks exceptionally nutritious, and will have you living to be a centenarian I have no doubt.

Um, could I just take your word for it?

I think anything with dates and apples in it would taste good!
