A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Sussex is a small town located not too far away from the LC.  The town is renowned for the wonderful murals painted on many of the buildings along their main street.

The artists of these murals come from many places.

Some are from the U.K.

Several are from Canada.

Some artists are from various places in the U.S.

Each mural tells a story about the history of the town.

You can see a story about a royal visit in this one.

These photos don't do the murals justice.  When you walk down the street and see the side of a building totally covered in one of these wonderful paintings it is a breathtaking experience.  I never tire of seeing them each time I am in Sussex.
Now this is my kind of graffiti!

Those are great! We have a few small towns in my part of the world that have several murals, but the next to last one is really spectacular!

Yes, they are beautiful.

Too beautiful for graffiti! Isn't it nice to think the trend has grown?

I love thr photos ... especially the blue sky in the first one!

I'll bet on large scale the experience is much different. I love the guy leaning on the window in the last photo.
