What's Going On Here?

Lately I've been having these weird anti cravings.  Things that I loved to eat no longer appeal to me.

Ground beef.  This has been on my can.not.eat. list for a few months now.

Ditto ribs.

Pop has just lost its fizz.

My sweet tooth cannot handle candy anymore.  This  just occurred a couple of weeks ago and I'm shocked.  I was born with a sweet tooth.  I have not turned up my nose at candy since I was expecting my first baby.  That phase only lasted a month or two.

So, Gentle Readers, can anyone tell me what's going on?  I'm not complaining, I don't miss any of it. Oh yes, I'm not pregnant!  As if.

I can't help, unfortunately. I wonder what's going on? Does it concern you enough to go and see a nutrionist or dietician?

Just keep up your protein levels! You could discover a whole range of delicious vegetarian meals, maybe?

Hi Deb,
I can't explain what's going on with you but be thankful! I say you roll with it and rule all that crap out for good. Hopefully you never go back to eating that meat...just a little vegan plug! :)

I am reading a book right now "the Omnivores Dilemma" that strikes meat and anythign with corn syrup off my list.

Can't explain yours other than to say what my family says to me if I complain or question anything "Hormones"

The sweet tooth thing is baffling though. As a fellow sweet toother that would be an odd one.

I don't eat red meat at all. Haven't for years. And I have not had a soda, diet or otherwise, since 1988. But sweets ... that a whole 'nother story sister. If it's contagious, send it my way :)

I've heard that your taste buds change every 7 years. I don't know if it's true, but maybe your taste buds are just finicky. ;-) Are you craving anything unusual?
