Baby Love!

Dear Daughter #2 is expecting!  A baby!  I can't wait.  Although I will. We need advice, what books to read, what equipment to have, good baby blogs, etc.

It's been a long time, baby.

Oh lucky you! Congratulations! My oldest has given us 3. One right after the other! They're really the bestest little creatures! And trust me, it's like riding a bike, you never forget what to do!

Congrats! How exciting for you & your family! :)

If she has any questions, I'd be happy to tell her what I know re: baby products, but since my methods aren't quite tried-and-true (yet) she might want to also ask others who know what they're doing... :) I'm relying only on the power of google search to tell me what I need to know! :)

Ha! Congratulations to your daughter and everyone else who has a DNA link to this yet-to-be-born baby! You're going to have so much fun, and you'll be a wonderful, loving grandma.

Child 3 just saw the first photo and gasped, "Do they deliver babies in a bag and dump them at the door?" And I said, "No they don't deliver them in a bag." And he said, "Yeah, they come by eagle".

So eyes to the sky!

Congratulations to you and your family. I am a long way off yet, at least I hope I am! but I am sure it will all come flooding back without all the awful bits cos you get to give the baby back!

Congratulations! That is the BEST news. I love babies. And I love when someone I know becomes a gramma. I can't wait to follow along in the journey. I love the new baby slings they have. You can "wear" your baby and still have your hands free. Gramma might need one too :)

aren't you too young to become a grandma?

Nothing wrong with a bouncing bag of baby! How far away does she live? We look forward to lots of Nanna insights.

Congratulations Deb!!!
I don't have much on the advice side...a lot of things have changed since mine were babies but I know you're going to have so much fun!
My neighbors have a new baby and I can't believe all the gadgets and inventions they have since come up with...what did we ever do!

Goodness. How very exciting!!!! I'm so happy for you and daughter #2. You'll be the best grandma.

Congrats to both you and your daughter!

I thought "What to Expect When You're Expecting" was a great book. If your daughter is a reader, I just found a cool baby magazine...not the typical. It's called Brain, Child Magazine. I've only seen it on their website and not in person, so don't hold me to my recommendation. Sounds cool though.

You must be very excited tonight. Enjoy.

Those images are so funny!(my daughters Canadian, as I now call him, is so lovely. We finally had a chat and he comes from a town called Renfrew. Your education system sounds so wonderful compared to ours, particularly when it comes to your attitudes to education for the disabled or special education as it is called here. (my daughter is disabled) I am continually impressed by Canadians, you guys do such a good job with so many important things like education and health and you don't make a big fuss about it you just get on and do it!! Canadians are the BEST xx Katherine

How exciting for you all! You will be the most wonderful funniest grandmother ever! I can't wait to see and hear more stories. Those pics are hysterical. Too bad those weren't around when Baby Bee was born 'cause we bundled her the wrong way! ;)
