The Little Teapot That Could.

This little teapot has traveled around the world.  Literally.

She started off in Norway.  Then she was seen in Australia.  Now she makes her home in Canada.  My good friend MMMC sent her all the way from Brisbane to the LC.  MMMC loves Scandinavian design.  Being the good friend that she is, she is converting me to her way of thinking.

I hate to use her but I've had my orders.  Maybe a soothing cup of Brisbane Breakfast tea would be lovely.
My friend was afraid the the teapot would arrive and do for a Broken Item of the Week but she arrived all safe and sound with a little house tucked in alongside her.

A Scandinavian style crafted house!

Thank you so much MMMC!  I love ya more than my snowbanks.

stop the presses!  I just found out my little teapot is vintage!

Is it vintage? It's got a mid-century feel that seems appropriate for MMMC. MMMC is also a Roman numeral by the way.

I LOVE that little house too. So folksy.

That is a beautiful little teapot. I love the shape of it. When I first saw it I thought it was something you found in your scavenging around the house and you were going to give it a new home. Here! Here! I was about to scream. Sigh. Enjoy!

Thanks for your recent comment Deb. Don't we all love feedback? Your teapot is wonderful--definitely use her! She's got that cute lady on her side. The little soft house is so cute too. What a lovely gift.

That teapot is a bit special, Deb. Keep it up high away from cats and husband's and you may share a cuppa with MMMC from it one day.

I love tea pots. But they don't love me. They tend to commit sucide by jumping to the floor and crash. So now i have this steel teapot, in a lime green color, but with no charme at all. I hate it. I love yours.

Does dad know you have it? Have you hid it somewhere away from his reach? Also, as much as I might insist, do not let me touch it. I am my father's daughter
