The Roundup Roundup

Good morning Gentle Readers.  In the interest of full disclosure, I'm going to show you pics of my ongoing battle with Bishop's Weed otherwise known as The Devil's Work:

Do you see those lovely brown patches of earth?  The dastardly weed once lived there.  In the background you can still see it growing abundantly.

Here it is slowly dying.

Die sucker!!!

I've decided to use the divide and conquer approach and just do a few specific areas at a time.

Lovely.

There has been some collateral damage but I expected that.  After all, that's the cost of doing war.  I think I'm actually winning on this.  I'm sure at least I've kept the Roundup company in business.

You know, I have some Bishop's Weed planted down at the creek under a tree and I guess because it has to live on neglect, it doesn't thrive down there so just sits not spreading. Now, vinca, has taken over our hill where our house is and as we are in the south, there is kudzu, the bane of our existence just up and down the road from us. They say it grows 2 feet a day. There are kudzu control forces around our county.

I can just picture you out there, Clint Eastwood style, saying, "Go ahead. Make my day," with your roundup trigger at the ready! You crack me up!

Someone once said that there is a certain peace only known on the other side of war. I don't think you'll find that peace until every last weed is dead. Go get em!
